birthday fun?

So, it's been an interesting day... On my way home, there was a bad accident. Thus, I sat in bad traffic with my gaslight on the entire time, praying i could make it to a gas station. I thankfully pulled into the station close to home and filled up my tank. As it was filling, i noticed that the pump was dripping. The automatic shutoff occurred, and the pump started spraying a small stream, kind of like when a hose has a pinhole in it. As i removed the nozzle, gas started SHOOTING out of my tank for literally a minute. I freaked, and some guy (who I think was laughing hysterically internally) reassured me that it was probably just a pump malfunction because it put 14 gallons in our 13 gallon tank. I started the car only to hear a horrific clunking noise. Joel's dad drove over and figured out it was some screw missing from some heating plate preventing overheating of the exhaust pipe (?) and it would be fine to drive home... Long story kind of short--it's 7:12 and i left TIRR at 4:40. oh happy day. But on the plus side, the Starbucks guy sang happy birthday to me in the drive through. :)
