the world keeps spinning...

so, its always interesting to come home after a week of being gone. things kept on trucking while we were at youth camp; i guess it would be weird if they didn't.

• the grass kept growing, which led joel to mow on sunday. he ran into the water pipe that comes out of our house and goes into the ground. it broke, so he ran inside frantically and called his dad on how to turn off the water. he spent all day with his dad fixing it. he is learning to be quite the handyman. as a result of the destruction, he had to go purchase his first saw. he came inside, smiling, and said, "i'm more of a man now; i have my own saw."
• dust still collects, which is gross.
• theodore's bowl runs out of water (its gross). he's our beta.
• lucy grew HUGE compared to when we left.
  
• camp laundry is gross and abundant.

gross is my new favorite word for this post.
