today was our last day in portland. we went to the waterfalls, but it was REALLY overcast. todd took some pictures, so i guess i'll get them up here at christmas... :P
we killed the sword, squirrel, and snail at lunchtime. their contents are in our stomachs. leftovers rock! however, our fun with the foil toys is dead...
we watched some of 'the office' and went to stumptown. todd retaught me how to play cribbage, and i whooped him twice! :) sadly, these mochas will be joel and my last taste of stumptown for quite a while...
we went back to the kunze house and ate and played games tonight. phase 10 is fun, but it takes forever. the kunze family is awesome; we had a lot of fun with them!
oh yea--while i was here, julia taught me how to knit a little! i'm not very good at it, but i can cast on and do knit and purl stitches! i am so excited.
we leave for home in the morning. portland was great! it is always good to see julia and todd. it is always good to get away from real life for a while. i can't wait until we can come back. i hope you enjoyed all of the posts of our vacation! see you on the flip side back in the great state of texas.
