joel's first cooking experience!

The commute home on Monday night was horrific! The HOV lane on 59 was closed from Ike, and my lab got out at 6:00. I stayed at school a little longer, and when I got to the bus stop my classmate Amreen was still sitting there. The 6:05 bus never came, and the 6:35 bus was 15 minutes late. I think I finally got home around 8:45. I helped Joel start cooking his first meal over the phone, and when I got home, we threw it all in the wok and finished cooking it up. It was the yummy Thai-style coconut chicken that I made when my girls came over a while back. I am so proud of my man! He made a delicious first meal. Way to go, Joel!
