We got this along with our gas bill today. It had a scratch and sniff gas area on it. "Scratch the flame at left to become familiar with the smell. If you smell natural gas inside your home or building: Leave immediately... Go to a safe location... Never try to repair a natural gas leak yourself..." Now you know. Or at least I do because I have truly smelled the harmless, unpleasant-smelling odorant that CenterPoint Energy adds to natural gas. (I don't think odorant is a word... it keeps red-underlining it for me. Good job, CenterPoint!)
