Holy crap! What have I wished upon us!? I love storms. I wanted the hurricanes (yes, Edouard and Gustav) to come here, but now I'm REALLY having second thoughts... I just wanted really good thunderstorms. Sorry, Houston... It looks like my foolish dreams are coming true. (:/) Lindsay was right; I am ridiculous. I think I wished for a bite bigger than I could chew. One of my classes has already been canceled for Friday. I am wondering if the other will be. I am wondering if classes even tomorrow will be... I guess I'll know soon enough.
God, please keep everyone safe. Please help all of the people in Haiti, Cuba, and other places who have been dealt such a blow already. Place your hand of protection upon us. Amen.

You're right, it doesn't look good for H-town. The Astros are thinking about postponing their games. Don't stop praying for minimal effects and safety for people. And be sure to keep in touch. Mom
