i developed a UTI this weekend... i ignored it for the most part on friday night and saturday, but sunday morning was pretty unbearable. i called the on-call doctor from my lady doctor's office. they said to only call if it was "a medical emergency". considering my last UTI turned into a kindey infection, i decided it warranted a call. i am now taking cefuroxime (a.k.a. ceftin). it is a huge, uncoated, bitter, horsepill that is impossible to swallow on the first try. thus, it begins to dissolve in my mouth causing gagging, toe-curling, face-making pain.
pills have never been difficult for me to swallow, but this one is horrid. it's time for me to take it, but i am putting it off b/c i truly dread it. i am also taking a pill to stop the burning. it turns my pee the color of orange soda. i am debating posting a picture--some of the youth said i should. what do you think? haha.

please....do not post a pee picture. please. and yes, swallowing pills is a horrid task.
kimb, if you post a pee picture i will never talk to you again...ok well maybe not but just leave it in the imagination!

Kimberly, if you post a pee picture, you will officially be the worst sister regarding bodily functions. (And I can talk about poo for ages - colour, texture, smell - the joys of changing nappies)
