my little lucy can swim now! i knew she had it in her... today, after vbs, the youth were invited to swim at one of the church member's houses. we asked if we could bring lucy, and they said, "of course!" so we did. i took her into the water with me, and i think she hated me severely at that moment. she clung to me, and i let her go. her instinct took over and she swam to the edge, jumped out and ran away from me. i repeated the process several times. then, i tempted her to jump in by throwing a ball in the water. finally, after much diligence on my part, this happened:
