walking.

lucy and i just went for a walk. it was good fun. it was only about a mile long--she's dead on her feet, yet i feel the need to exercise more... o well.

we met a lot of neighbors which is always nice. we met sue, who lives catty corner (sp?) to us. she has very nice flower beds. we met brandon, alexis, and their daughter seanna. they live on the street behind us as well. then we met travis, a cop who has roxie, a 4.5 month old yellow lab/golden retriever. lucy made a new friend that is the same age as her! finally we saw our next door neighbors on our way home. they have tito, a little black and white shih tzu. overall, our walk was refreshing.

one thing i love about our new neighborhood is that joel and i are in the minority. i love being surrounded by different, unique cultures. it makes me feel at home for some reason. :)
